- Managing in a Downturn, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Fundraising Institute Australia and the Centre for Social Impact (2009). This research report assesses the effect of the economic downturn on Australian charities and nonprofit organisations and assesses the projected increases and decreases in fundraising and other income streams.
- The Impact of the economic downturn on not-for-profit organisation management report, the Centre for Corporate Public Affairs (2009). This report found that many organisations are experiencing a reduction in investment income and funding along with an increase in demand for services.
- Non-profit institutions satellite account, Australian Bureau of Statistics, Co-funded by FAHCSIA. The ABS has developed a non-profit institutions satellite account for Australia for the year 2006-07. The Satellite Account provides a comparable measurement of the non profit sector relative to the general economy. Among other findings of interest to the sector, it found that non profit organisations contributed close to $43 billion (or 4.1%) to Australia's economy in 2006-07.

- A Delicate Balance, The paper builds on research undertaken by earlier scholars, and the experiences of other consortia, as it highlights the potential and real tensions between the vision of Moreton Bay Community Consortium - shared decision-making - and the legal responsibilities of the lead agency, and provides a timely contribution to the current discourse on partnerships.
