- Organisations funded under the FRSP to provide services to the community are subject to the FRSP Approval Requirements. The Approval Requirements form part of the FRSP Funding Agreement.
- Evaluation Report of the Family Relationship Services for Humanitarian Entrants (FRSHE) program (2008), Urbis. The evaluation found that: relationship problems are inherent in the refugee and settlement experience; the FRSHE initiative has shown that the relationships of humanitarian entrant families can be strengthened through specialised responses; FRSHE providers developed a range of good practice service delivery models rather than a single model, to allow flexibility in working with the different humanitarian entrant communities.

- Strong growth in health and community services workforces (2009), Australian Institute of Health and Welfare. This report outlines how Australia's health and community services labour forces continued to grow strongly between 2001 and 2006 with the health workforce increasing by almost 23% while the community services workforce grew by 36%.
